I received a news release from “Ippudo(一風堂)” announcing “renewal”. Since the menu names were the same, I thought it would be a “small renewal”, but instead it said “Major renewal for the first time in 8 years.” I decided I had to try this, so I went to the nearby Ippudo Ebisu shop.

Hakata Ippudo(博多一風堂) (all locations nationwide) Starting on the 16th, the 38th anniversary of Ippudo’s founding, they will undergo a major renewal of their signature ramen for the first time in about 8 years. The replacement of existing products will be completed by January 16, 2024, with shops nationwide divided into five groups.
