“New Tokyo Ramen” rather than an outstanding individuality, “Homemade Noodle Uruchi(自家製麺 うるち)”
Two shops have opened near Tawaramachi Station(田原町駅) on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line.
First up is Men Mitsui (麺 みつヰ Taito Ward, Tokyo), which opened on April 19th of this year(2023). It is a move from Asakusa. It’s a popular shop that has even been featured in the Michelin Guide, and there are long lines, so now they use a numbered ticket system. Homemade Noodles URUCHI(自家製麺 うるち URUCHI, ULT, RAMEN) opened on September 11th right next to it.

Homemade Noodles Uruchi(自家製麺うるち)(about 1 minute walk from Exit 1 of Tawaramachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line) A new shop opened on September 11, 2023 by the owner who trained at several famous shops. Using unique homemade noodles, we offer a new type of Shin(new) Tokyo ramen that has both a nostalgic and new feel. It’s already becoming popular.
