The world’s only original Hiyashi Chuka (冷やし中華; chilled ramen) specialty shop “HiyaChu” opens as a limited-time store in New York, USA, re-imported store from Japan
The highest temperature was recorded at around 35 degrees every day, making it difficult to stand in line at shops in the sun. It’s already a long time ago that “We started hiyashi chuka(chilled Chinese noodle)” was a summer tradition. There are fewer and fewer hiyashi chuka shops in Tokyo.
Meanwhile, as far as I know, “HiyaChu”, the only Hiyashi Chuka specialty shop in the world, opened as an independent store from a rented space, so I would like to introduce it to you.

HiyaChu, a hiyashi chuka(chilled ramen) specialty shop(冷やし中華専門店 HiyaChu) (2 minutes walk from JR Nishi-Ogikubo Station) Opened on July 27th, this is probably the world’s only “creative hiyashi chuka specialty store” and is open during the day. At night, there is a bar called HIYACHU BAR Gunjo(群青). It’s a double crop business with different styles for day and night.
